It was 17 years ago that I had this thought and took it seriously. I ws 6 years into my chosen adulting profession in the banking and finance industry and hating every second of it. 

So I decided to take my childhood love of animals seriously and put in my two weeks notice to start my own pet business. It’s now my 17th year in busienss and I can honestly say it was the BEST decision I ever made. 

I allowed me to be home with my two kids. It helped my husband get out of his work rut. It gave me the choice of work freedom and a freedom of creativity I never would have gotten anywhere else.
